Thank you for the sensitive article. I had a difficult birth last September that resulted in the baby stopping breathing. She was revived, with severe brain damage, and died in April. It is profoundly sad to think about her. It is nice when people remember you and what you went through.

Thank you for writing about this. Miscarriage and neo-natal loss is a reality that is invisible in our "success" driven society. I gave birth to triplet girls at 22 weeks almost 2 1/2 years ago. They lived any where from a few minutes to an hour. Last year, I tied 3 pink ribbons around a tree in our front yard to honor and remember them. Thanks for writing about a topic so many ignore . . . and a loss that so many live with in silence
