Sometimes I hold her when she is sleeping just so I can smell her hair!

Rachel Ann

With me it was always that fresh baby-smell; I would drink it in, cover over our heads and just me and baby.

I know what you mean. There were days that I thought "One of us is going out that window" but other days when my heart broke just from a simple movement on their part: the way they turned their head, or raised a hand.

I remember my oldest child's first smile...Oh that was heaven, I'm telling you.

And you'll keep having those feelings for the rest of your life....

Some many times they drive me mad; sometimes mad with joy.
