Retro Jordan

In overcast conditions the skylight is always blue (clear skies are needed for the pink light) and it is generally much darker, with night falling much more quickly.

What a wonderful post! I just had to stop back and tell you that I've been thinking about it all week.

So true, so true, nothing like the harsh light of day to illuminate unwanted facial hairs, stained teeth and a fading dye job. I hate mirrors in well lit places. Thinking of removing my RVM all together, except for the little faces peering back. Now that'll give you pause. And, without the RVM I'd be driving around with lipstick on my teeth a whole lot more often,

You are such a good writer. Funny too! And at the end, you made me tear up. I'm 56, so I can relate to everything you're saying. Although my daughter is now a full grown woman and doesn't look at me in the same amazed way children do, she does occasionally say just the right thing to make me feel good about myself and grateful to have her in my life. Children are indeed a blessing!

By the way...in addition to this 'issues' you cover (lipstick etc),I have an issue with my weight. There are days when I am okay with it and then I see a woman like Tina Turner and wonder where I went wrong. Hahaha So, I'd like to share with you a video on YouTube that perked me up today. It's about being FAT. If you'd like to see it, here's the link:

Thanks for this great blog. I'll be back!

Aw, I love this. Great post!
