I am having the most maddening experience tonight, and if anyone can help I'd be so grateful. Anywhere I go on the Internet, anywhere the words d-i-e-t or d-a-t-i-n-g or s-e-x appear, my browser inserts a link to a particular website. It's doing it in my blog, it's doing it on the website where I work, it's doing it everywhere I go!!! I've cleared my cookies, I've cleared my history, I've restarted my computer, and I've run out of ideas. If anyone has any suggestions, please pass them along.
It goes to various places. The links it inserts for s-e-x go to modelceleb.com; the d-a-t-i-n-g links go somewhere else. The URL starts with truth.addnservices.com but then continues with a query string. I've spent the day working with programmers and IT people on this and still no progress. I've got the latest version of Norton running (no more viruses) and the latest version of SpyBot (no one spying on me currently). We've deleted all potentially offensive files, and still: I get these links to sites I don't want to visit, and I cannot use some active edit windows. It's maddening!!!
