Colter changes clothes every time he sneezes or drops food or water on himself or changes activities. In desperation, Gary threatened, "You're going to start doing your own laundry." Naturally, Colter took him up on the challenge. So yesterday, when I arrived home, it was to piles of neatly-folded underwear (who folds underwear?!), socks, jeans, and T-shirts, courtesy of the dynamic duo. Colter's favorite part is throwing the clothes from the washer to the dryer as if he's a basketball player, announcing every move. God bless my husband and God bless my clean clothes.
It's never to early to teach your children how to be independent. I'm eternally grateful that when I left my mother's house I knew how to cook, clean, do laundry, etc. In essence I knew how to take care of myself and it's something that I am passing on to my daughter.
As far as your husband, once a man gets fed up they'll take the necessary steps to correct the problem at hand. :)
