Oedipus at 7

"I'll never love anyone as much as I love you," Colter said last night, and cuddled closer while we were reading at bedtime. Then, "Tell me the names of all your ex-boyfriends." WHAT?! When I recovered, I started listing them: Steve, Daniel, Mitch -- Colter interrupts before I get very far (not that there were too many more to go) and asks, "Did he wear glasses?" As it happens, half of them did. Colter takes that as proof, I think, that Gary was a good choice for me, because he also wears glasses. As we approach our 8th anniversary I think that may be as good a criteria as any for gauging compatibility.
