Just for today, I want to curl up on the windowsill in the sunshine and feel my soft fur get warm. When I start to get sleepy, I'll nap. And when the urge strikes, I'll pounce. I can be crazy and lazy and so satisfied that my whole body purrs. Wouldn't that be nice? Just for a day. Well, maybe just for a few hours. I don't think I could deal with the whole litter box thing.

I AM my cat already. I'm a freelance writer and editor who works at home in bed, with my cats asleep nearby. I stay conscious a lot longer than they do, so I feel I'm accomplishing a great deal even before I touch my computer. It's all in your attitude.

We just got a kitten. I don't know where it gets the energy from. It fights sleep. So I would say I want to be my cat once it grows up! :)
