Cash? yeah right and lose it? It's hard enough to keep up with my debit/atm card.

*laughing*

I usually carry cash in both currencies, Dollars and Pounds, I also use my debit card for almost everything and rarely I will write a check for something.

VJ

We do a mix of debit, checks and cash. It all depends on the amount of money in the bank. Straight credit cards? Nope.

Most of Asia is still a cash culture. It took a bit of getting used to when I moved to the region in 1998, but now it seems more convenient than signing the receipt then keeping it around to compare to the statement.

Tiff

I'm a cash kind of girl. Rarely do checks and never credit cards.

Kelly

debit card 99% of time....

Yes, I usually carry $20 - $40 on me. I need cash to pay for miscellaneous items like lunch at work. I have a very complicated system of budgeting, and I wouldn't be able to track my savings very well if I frequently used debit cards.

Robin P

Usually only 10-20 dollars at a time. Lillianna still says, "Just get money out of the ATM." I have explained this a million times:there has to be money IN the account before I take it OUT! lol :)

barbara

yes

Philip

Gotta have cash in case you need to stop at Chik-Fil-A for a bag of chicken sandwiches.

Sarah

Actually, when we have less money, I'm more likely to carry cash. It's sort of a way of making what we have to spend more tangable and it helps me keep track of what we have.

When we've got lots of money, I use my debit card almost exclusively.

Margie

Usually, never more than $20 at a time. I always take the minimum from the ATM. I still have my debit card, though!
