I can hardly wait for Tony to really know how to read and to find enjoyment in reading. Right now he is still sounding out word after word. He is only six, after all.

We read, our sons read and our grandchildren love books and being read to as well. I can't think of a better investment in monetary terms as well as social. I happen to think people who read have a much broader base for their interests. Many times, I've gone on to research something more that I read in a book or recently found exploring Charleston SC a real treat because I was "familiar" with the area.

As of right now, my daughter is two and I hope more than anything that she and I (and her Daddy, too) will be spending way too much time in bookstores. I remember picking out my own books as a little girl and it was awesome!

Philip

A 400 bucks extraordinarily well spent. So glad he's discovering the joys of reading.

That is wonderful! Books are the one of the best gifts you can give to a child. I feel like it is never a bad investment!
